‘The English Wonderland’ is a new year-long English co-curricular activity program at LHK, which aims to promote a richer English learning atmosphere at school and get students to interact with their adorable schoolmates and energetic English teachers more often. After teaching students how to read aloud the Wonderland’s slogan in an English morning assembly, students were eager to join the ‘Sing the Slogan’ activity at lunchtime. To make them easily remember the slogan, there are rhyming word pairs and a rhythm. Also, our native-English speaking teacher Ms Tanya was so creative that she added some actions to make it fun.

We hope students always remember:

‘The English Wonderland,

A land of laughing,

A world of fun,

Where English is easy,

And prizes are won’

During Life-wide Self-directed Learning Days, not being able to travel around the city in person, students were exploring some Hong Kong famous spots through lifetime online tours. When there is a will, there is a way!
